Meals One O Eight

From quite some time, there was a need for a good café and restaurant near Tripura University — and Meals One O Eight fills that gap beautifully. This newly inaugurated place is a breath of fresh air, offering a cozy, environment-friendly setting that’s both pocket-friendly and appealing. The rooftop experience is definitely a highlight — perfect for casual hangouts, study breaks, or just unwinding with friends. The ambiance is Instagram-friendly, with a vibe that younger crowds will especially appreciate. The food is tasty, well-priced, and caters to a variety of preferences. However, one area that could use improvement is the service time — currently, the wait can be a bit long. Faster service would make the overall experience even better. All in all, a great addition to the area. Good food, good prices, and a good vibe — highly recommended!

Well this is one of the most amazing cafes out there. The ambiance, the natural atmosphere over there was simple beyond words. A nice place to hang out with friends/couples. The food was good at a reasonable price. The service and behaviour of the staff was very nice. A must visit place.

The ambiance is nice, I wish I could say the same about the food. The french fries were soggy, the chicken pakodas had no chicken ( literally), at one point we thought they served us veg pakodas, the sandwiches too had no chicken (only mayonnaise and some veggies) and the chai was machine-made. Also, they even charge you extra for a polythene bag, if you want to pack your food. We couldn't finish our food and wanted to take the leftovers, so we could feed the stray dogs nearby. The place is viral rn, so it's crowded and the service is late but I genuinely believe that if they can improve their food, the place may remain in business for long, they have the potential. But everything was super affordable, I must add (good for all the uni students). Edit : went there again idk why...but this time they did better, I think they're paying attention to the quality of the food they serve which is good and it needs to get some appreciation. Loved the dosa. Edit 2 : changing the review to 5 ⭐ because I went there again and felt like they actually listened to their customers and made so much positive changes, it needs to get appreciated!!
